Some companies don’t want Microsoft 365 Copilot on Windows device due to privacy concern . And you might be stuck trying AppLocker or old config profiles that no longer work for blocking Copilot.
Note : Copilot & M365 Copilot are two different applications, here we only focus on M365 Copilot.
Here’s the easy way.
In Intune, open the Microsoft Store (new) apps. Search for Microsoft 365 Copilot and add it. Then assign it with the Uninstall action to the devices where you don’t want M365 Copilot.
Done. No messy policies.
If some users still need Copilot, create a group for them and exclude that group from the uninstall assignment.
